Elemental‘s M-series monolights have been discontinued with the coming of the new Trinity & Trinity Pro series lights in June. You can no longer find the M-series on their web site, except onĀ clearance sale. Here’s what they had to say on Facebook:

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a faithful friend, a beacon which glowed upon us as a collective, shining brightly, quickly, and recycling beautifully. Elegant, sleek, hardworking and ever dependable. Fairwell, M Series. You remain forever in our hearts and studios, except when the Trinity range arrivesĀ and we unceremoniously replace you with faster, prettier and more elegant lights. Harsh, but true.

The new lights have the following specifications:

Digital Back for 1/10EV Control

Fastest recycle times EVER! – 0.2s – 1s!

Sleek ergonomic triangular (Trinity) design

Fast flash durations – 1/800s – 1/1500s

Available in four power grades: 400Ws, 600Ws, 800Ws, 1000Ws

NB: 400 and 600Ws models are named Trinity, 800 and 1000Ws Trinity Pro. For more pictures and details, see the Trinity product page.
