Nissin MG8000 “machine gun” flash now available in the UK

Do you test your equipment to the limit? If you find yourself firing off shots so quickly that your flashguns can’t keep up without overheating, Nissin’s MG8000 Extreme “Machine Gun” hotshoe strobe could be just the thing you need in your lighting armoury. The device is said to be capable of popping 1,000 consecutive full power pops without breaking a sweat.

Nissin MG8000 Extreme

Kenro, Nissin’s UK distributor, has now announced that the MG8000 Extreme is available for sale in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The recommended retail price is £545.40, for both Nikon and Canon variants. Most good photographic stores are selling the product for about £100 less than that. For more technical information, visit the Kenro product page.

In the USA, the MG8000 is listed at $629.00 but not yet in stock.

Kenro stated over 14 months ago that it was in stock.
Now, are they really available or they might say, “Due to high demand, we are currently out of stock.”?

Kenro sent out a press release and some of the stores are now listing the product as in stock, so we can only take their word for it.

Adorama and B&H Photos, New York, NY are doing the same thing like Kenro. And more companies will soon follow.

“We ran out of this Item Temporarily.
Please note: You can order this now and have us ship it as soon as it arrives.”

They never had it in stock in the first places.

        FYI to everyone:
Its cost over $1,130.00 USD just to get 1 second full power pop. Unless you have the Quantum Turbo Battery Pack & Cable already.

The best 4AA just won’t do it.

What a scam & faulty advertisements from USA & UK.

You are correct many stores have none in stock.
They hold you credit card & you will surly see it on your statements.
Including that you will need the expensive power pack to get under 1 second.

Nissin says only the main flashtube is quartz. The second is just a regular flashtube.

It’s cheaper by buying two Canon 580EX II or Nikon SB-910.
When one overheat then you just switch it out.
Or use the second one as a wireless flash for less than $1,100.00.
Bet you guys & gals didn’t think of that.

If we don’t buy then Nissin has to drop the price. And we win :o )
