Quantum Omicron ring light for stills and video

Quantum have announced the Omicron QF26 – a ring light with continuous LEDs and flash all in one.

Like their other lights, the Omicron needs to be powered by an external battery pack. Using a Turbo or Blade you can run the Omicron in video mode for HDSLR film-making. The intensity from 1 metre away is 380 lux.

Adding a Qflash or Trio also allows Canon & Nikon TTL flash for stills photography. The flash can obtain exposures of f/11 at 1.2 metres or f/5.6 at 2.5m (Iso 400).
