AC power for speedlights with the Innovatronix SpeedFire

Philippines-based company, Innovatronix - best known for their Tronix Explorer series of portable power units - have announced the Tronix SpeedFire, a mains-powered 'battery pack' for speedlights.

Philippines-based company, Innovatronix – best known for their Tronix Explorer series of portable power units – have announced the Tronix SpeedFire, a mains-powered ‘battery pack’ for speedlights.

Promised features:

  • powers flash guns or small flashes directly from AC or wall socket
  • unlimited number of flashes, faster recycling time
  • plug and play feature, autovolt (100-240Vac)
  • makes battery life longer due to reduced strain
  • compatible with most Canon and Nikon flash guns
  • best recommended for home/studio or semi-permanent set up

It is on show at Innovatronix’s booth (125) at the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) convention in Las Vegas until 10th March.
