B&H has brought the innovative SMDV Speedbox-Flip to the USA, branded the Angler Fastbox, starting from $159.

Gradus Angler Fastbox

B&H has announced the new Gradus Angler Fastbox, a compact, quick-folding softbox designed for use with speedlights and round-head flashes, including the Godox V1 and Profoto A1.

The Angler Fastbox is a rebrand of SMDV’s latest Speedbox-Flip, boasting a clever new design where the speedring folds in half, allowing the modifier to pop up and collapse in seconds, while taking up very little space in your camera bag.

Two versions are available in 24″ and 20″ diameter. They each have (non-removable) double diffusion panels and optional adapters for use with round-headed speedlights from Godox and Profoto.

The Gradus Angler Softbox will be available from mid-April 2021 from B&H Photo, priced $159 for the 20″ version and $179 for the 24″ variant (affiliate links).
