Pre-orders open for Aputure LS600D Pro LED, priced $1890

600-watt S-mount COB video light now available to order, with a release scheduled for December.

Aputure Light Storm LS 600D Pro

Aputure has officially announced its 600-watt Bowens-mount LED, the Light Storm LS 600D Pro.

The high-power video light is priced US$1890 and now available to pre-order. Release date is set for 10th December 2020.

The Aputure LS 600D Pro is daylight balanced with built-in wireless remote control, and powered from the mains, or V-mount or Gold mount batteries.

It is the brightest lamp so far from the Chinese company, and one of the most powerful COB-type lights we’ve seen to date. Probably the closest alternative is the Tolifo SK-D5000SL, which is ‘only’ 500 watts.

For full technical specifications, see our earlier article or visit the manufacturer’s web site. Pre-order now from Adorama or B&H, or directly from Aputure’s Shopify store.
