Interfit unleashes Badger Beam LED monolight

New $200 S-fit LED lamp for photography and video lighting on location.

Interfit Badger Beam

First there was the Honey Badger, then the Badger Unleashed. Now Interfit has released the Badger Beam, an affordable 60-watt AC/DC COB LED monolight.

The Interfit Badger Beam has a Bowens S-type accessory mount, as well as a built-in speedring for use with pop-up softboxes. It is designed for photo and video shooting with system cameras or cameraphones. It is dimmable from 0–100% and has a fixed daylight (5600K) colour temperature.

According to the manufacturer, the 2850mAh lithium battery will keep the light going for 45 minutes at full power on a single charge. It is the same battery pack used in the Badger Unleashed, and slots directly into the top of the head. You can also run the lamp from the mains. The integrated tilt bracket supports 8mm umbrellas.

A single unit will set you back £200 / US$200. Visit the Interfit web site for more information.
