Why buy a fancy touchscreen exposure meter when you could use the screen on your phone or smartwatch? The Lumu Power promises a way to do this with the iPhone, but one enterprising photographer has provided a guide on making your own Bluetooth flash meter that can (in theory) connect to any Android device.

Thierry D’s homemade flash meter is shown working with a Samsung Gear smartwatch. He provides full instructions on how to make your own flash meter for Android — using electronics components bought on eBay — on his web site.
