Paul C. Buff has posted an update on the shipping status of its upcoming Einstein IGBT monolights:
We have factory-built twelve initial Einstein™ units for rigorous testing and are pleased to report that they are performing perfectly with zero failures.  We are currently building the first 100 production units, with another 4,000 going into production right behind them. With almost 3,000 pre-orders to fill, our number one priority continues to be getting the product correctly made, tested and shipped.
We anticipate shipment of the first 100 units to begin next week. At that time, we hope to be able to give a more definitive shipping schedule for the rest of the pre-ordered units. We will post another update here at that time.
