Elinchrom Skyport Transmitter Pro brings TTL, HSS to Fujifilm

Fujifilm users will be able to use TTL and high-speed sync with Elinchrom flashes from 18 September.

Elinchrom Skyport Transmitter Pro

Elinchrom has announced a final release date for the Fujifilm version of their EL-Skyport Transmitter Pro, their wireless flash trigger that enables TTL exposure control and high-speed sync with ELB-series studio lamps.

The Fujifilm-fit Transmitter Pro, set to ship on 18 September, will complement existing support for Nikon, Canon, Sony and Micro Four Thirds, for which transmitters are already available.

Most radio-enabled Elinchrom flashes will support remote power control with the new trigger, but only certain models of lamp work with HS synchronisation and only the ELB 500 TTL offers through-the-lens automatic metering (TTL) for now.

The recommended retail price is US$249, €249 or £229, available at B&H Photo and other sellers. For more information, visit the Elinchrom web site.
