Ledixis, the French company behind the Exalux Briks modular LED panel, has unveiled a new Splitter that allows you to control separate arrays from a single controller.
In our review of the high-end Exalux Briks system, one of our criticisms was that no matter how many Briks panels you owned, it was still just one light source because they take their power through the controller unit, only one of which is included in most kits. Now the Splitter lets you have different arrays around the room, connected by a long cable. So you can have multi-light setups without buying an extra controller.
Ledixis will be exhibiting the Briks system at the IBC show in Amsterdam from today (11 September) until 15 September 2015, on stand B36 in hall 8. The Exalux smartphone app, providing wireless control, will also be demonstrated (it wasn’t available at the time of our review).
