Photoflex, the American lighting manufacturer, has announced the release of Adjustable ShoeMount Rotating Hardware — their name for a bracket that fits two flashguns into a softbox speedring. The company says:

“Double Your Softbox Power: Are you looking to add more light to your set-up? The rotating hardware allows you to connect two speed lights for improved light output, while still having the ability to rotate your softbox of choice.”

The adapter can mount one or two hotshoe flashguns into a Photoflex softbox, which can be rotated to a horizontal or vertical orientation. The whole apparatus fits on a light stand.

Pricing has not yet been announced but there is a list of dealers on the Photoflex web site.
