Fluotec has launched the Vegalux Plus and Auralux Plus, two LED fresnels designed for professional photography.

Fluotec Vegalux Plus

Fluotec, a Mexican lighting manufacturer, has launched two new LED fresnels designed for professional photography and film-making.

The Vegalux Plus is a 7″ LED fresnel with a motorised zoom lens (13–47°) that can be set remotely using DMX control. The light draws 185 watts of power and has stepless brightness adjustment from 0–100%. Special “Halodim” firmware allows dimming with no colour shifts, according to the manufacturer. Emitted light has a colour rendering index (CRI) of 93+. The lamp weighs 6.6 kg (14 lbs).
