The Ving V860C, the E-TTL version of the innovative Godox Ving V850 Li-ion speedlight, has been released.

Using rechargeable lithium-ion batteries rather than standard AAs, the Ving promises longer life and quicker recycle times than your average speedlight, without the need for cumbersome external power packs. The flash has E-TTL, including high-speed sync, optical master and slave support for Canon. There’s also an optional radio receiver, the FT-16S, which can be used to trigger and remotely adjust the unit in manual power mode.

Unofficial reseller EachShot.com is offering our readers 6% off with the voucher code LightingRumours, which may be redeemed against any Godox V860C, V850, FT-16S or FT-16S RX purchase. Other retailers are available, of course. Try eBay and LinkDelight. Sometimes these sellers (including EachShot) can be a bit quick off the mark in announcing they have stock, so you might want to wait a while before you can be sure they’ll ship it when you order it.

A Nikon i-TTL Ving may be released in the future but we have no information on when that might be. For more information, visit the manufacturer’s web site.
