Lastolite have announced a new type of handheld reflector panel. The TriGrip Warm Tone Difflector is a “soft gold” version of their TriGrip Difflector.
What’s a “Difflector”? The manufacturer claim their product is the “world’s first” fabric panel that works both as a bounce reflector and as a diffuser. To do this, it uses a “unique” material that is translucent on one side and reflective on the other. The “TriGrip” name describes how it is triangular and hand-held.

There are three sizes of Warm TriGrip Difflector: 45cm, 75cm and 120cm (18″, 30″ and 48″, respectively), all designed to be handheld by a photographic assistant (VAL) with the ergonomic handle. For transport and storage, the panel can be folded up to around a third of its usual size.
