Ohio, USA: Midwest Photo Exchange (MPEX) is currently taking user feature requests for the next LumoPro concept flash, nicknamed “LP-TTL”.

Moishe Appelbaum, of the LumoPro Support Team, says:

I’m starting to research a TTL version. Will definitely be looking at the suggested features above [in this Flickr thread] and elsewhere. I feel this community definitely needs an affordable flash, so I will always (go ahead and quote me) have a flash that falls in that category. Honestly, I think that is even pushing the limits, but the fact that we are almost completely sold out contrasts that thinking. My target price for a TTL version is between $200-225.

Potential features

  • All the features of the LP160 [read LP160 specs]
  • TTL (FULL compatibility Nikon and Canon versions)
  • FULL Compatibility with PW Flex and RP units, including manual power adjustments.
  • HV port
  • AF assist
  • Possibility of Full power or ready power firing?
