Minox USA, the official distributor of Nissin flashes, has issued a notice warning customers that they will not receive warranty support on their products if they have been imported unofficially from unauthorised distributors.
The company provides guidelines on how to check Nissin flashes are authentic, including stickers on the device or box, as well as a USA warranty card in the box. They say they will not service so-called ‘grey-market’ products because it is impossible to tell how it has been shipped or if it has been previously used.
