Nissin delays release of the i60A flash

Nissin's i60A flashgun, originally slated for a May launch, won't be released for Canon and Nikon until December 2016.

Nissin’s i60A, a bigger and more powerful brother to the compact i40 shoe-mount flash, has been delayed. Previously we reported that Nissin would release the i60A at the end of May. Though the Sony version is already available, other variants have had their release dates pushed back.

The Nissin i60A for Fuji is expected to be in stock at the August and the Micro Four Thirds version will be available in September. Photographers that were waiting for the Canon or the Nikon version of the i60A are out of luck, because the latest information indicates that these models will only begin shipping in December. The difference between “end of May” and “December” is rather significant and makes us wonder what made Nissin change its schedule.
