Photoflex, the American studio lighting supplier, has announced it is "closing business".

Photoflex, the American studio lighting supplier, has announced it is “closing business”.

The company, based in Watsonville, California, manufactured and distributed photographic lighting equipment since 1985, and was known for its softboxes and affordable video and photo lighting kits. Some of the company’s employees — around 20–40 or so — have now listed themselves as freelance/self-employed or looking for work.
