Phottix hires former PocketWizard marketing guru

Phottix has hired an American consulting firm to expand its international marketing operations.

Inovanti LLC, the consultancy firm that used to do international marketing for PocketWizard, has signed a new contract with Phottix, the Hong Kong photo accessory manufacturer. Lorenzo Gasperini will head Phottix’s new global marketing team as International Sales Director, alongside John Sawyer as International Sales Manager.

Gasperini’s company had a relationship with PocketWizard lasting 18 years, before market conditions led to the downsizing of PocketWizard and the manufacturer bringing their marketing operations in-house.

Clearly Phottix wants to improve and expand its international marketing reach and bringing Inovanti on board seems like a logical step to make that happen. Lorenzo brings over 25 years of photography-industry experience and connections to the seven-year-old accessory company, known for products such as the Mitros+ flashgun and Odin TTL triggering system.
