The PocketWizard Plus III wireless flash trigger, recently leaked in a video, was not unveiled at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The distributors, Mac Group, were not in the list of exhibitors.

This could mean we won’t see the Plus III officially revealed until another show, such as WPPI in February or Focus On Imaging in March. Or it might come later in the year, if indeed at all.

The remote – a compact manual transceiver with an LCD screen, similar in some ways to the MultiMax – would replace the current Plus II. The Plus II is still in stock at Adorama and B&H. PocketWizard have neither confirmed nor denied the existence of a Plus III model.
