A new lighting brand, Quadralite, is to be unveiled at the Photography Show later this month.

At the show, which runs from 19–22 March at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, stand F121 will feature the new brand “Quadralite”. According to the company blurb: “Quadralite delivers the best lighting solutions in studio and on location photography to satisfy all professionals and photography enthusiasts. Products on our offer are a perfect combination of high quality and affordable price. We strive to ensure that our products comply with the highest expectations and we do our best to constantly develop them.”

The www.quadralite.pl company web site is just a placeholder at the moment, but if you have a photographic memory like me, you will recognise the brand as that given by Polish distributor Quantuum to their rebadged Godox AR400 ring flash, which they sell as the Quadralite Rx400. In fact, the blurb above is exactly that found on Quantuum’s English-language About page.

So though they haven’t told us so, expect this to mean Quantuum may be expanding some aspect of its European distribution, which already covers much of the EU, to include the UK. (British photographers could already buy Quantuum products, but it required ordering them from Foto-Tip in Poland.) Maybe it will include some non-Godox products, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see yet another rebadged Witstro.
