Multiblitz, the German lighting manufacturer, have released a new wheeled case for protecting and transporting ProPac battery packs on location. The Multiblitz Trolly-Kit is designed to allow photographers to “handle your ProPac1 easily and safely, especially during outdoor shootings.”
Like an air traveller’s baggage, the Trolly-Kit has a long handle for wheeling the battery pack around. The trolly includes two velcro straps that allow it to be fixed to a tripod or light stand and serve as a counterweight. This can be useful for stabilising boom arms or using lights outdoors on windy days. According to the manufacturer, “the ProPac1 battery pack does not heat up when operated, [so] it can be easily left in the bag during the shooting as well as during recharge.”
The Multiblitz Trolly-Kit has a recommended retail price of €149.00, or €969.00 including the Propac battery pack.
