The Kickstarter project for Rift Labs’ Kick concept LED has less than 48 hours to run. It has successfully achieved its funding target, so the innovative RGB lightsource is set to become a reality. If you pledge before the deadline, you may be able to get yourself your own Kick. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until it goes on general sale – a time not yet to be announced.
Since meeting their goal, the developers have discussed plans for lighting accessories to fit on the Kick, including an “intensifier”, barndoors, a grid-spot or adapter clips to join multiple units together. You can find out more about these ideas here.
