Westcott have introduced new seamless backdrops for the portable X-Drop background support system.
The X-Drop Sweeps are 5′ × 12′ (1.5m × 3.7m) sheets of “unique, wrinkle-resistant fabric” that stretch over the company’s X-Drop frame, which uses telescopic poles and is designed to be set up “in seconds” on location and in small studios.
Previously, Westcott only offered 5′ × 7′ (1.5m × 2.1m) rectangular backdrops, which didn’t quite reach the floor so were only suitable for three-quarter-length portraits or less. The X-Drop Sweep’s extra five feet of fabric trails on the floor, creating a seamless background. Both X-Drop and X-Drop sweep backdrops use the same support stands.
