With the release of the new PocketWizard modules for Alien Bees and Elinchrom, forum users are asking “and what about the Einsteins?” Einsteins are not compatible with the new modules because they use a digital transceiver instead of the Alien Bee / White Lightning RJ11 jack.
Paul Buff has suggested something ‘world-changing’ is in the works between his company and PocketWizard, in this post on his tech forum:
There are things happening between PW and Einstein and Buff you don’t know about, and they won’t be announced until a little more progress has occurred. It will evolve over time and then the world will look different than it does today.
