SMDV Diffuser-60

2013/06/01: Entries are now closed for this competition

SMDV Diffuser-60It’s been a little bit of a wait, but today we are launching our second community photography competition, with another great prize to be won. Reader response to our ‘Water’ photo contest in February was very impressive so we are eagerly looking forward to seeing your entries this time round. Submit your photographs and you could receive a 60cm speedlight softbox, worth €129!

The SMDV Diffuser-60 (pictured) is a complete light modifier and flash bracket, designed to let you take portraits, fashion and beauty shots quickly and easily on location. In our recent product review we found lots to like about soft light and fast assembly of the Diffuser-60, concluding it is “by far one of the most elegant ways of getting soft light out of your little hotshoe flashes”.

We’d like to thank Foto-Morgen for providing this brilliant prize, which anybody can win if one of their pictures is chosen by our judges. And unlike last time, Nikon users need not feel left out!

The theme of this competition is soft light.

How to enter

Join our Google+ community at gplus.to/Lighting and share your images there with the hash tag #softlightcomp.

You can link your photographs with the theme however you like. Feel free to mix it up and come up with your own interpretations!

In the caption of your image, or a comment underneath it, share a little bit of information about it, including where the light comes from. This could be any source: your own studio set-up, the open sky or the glow from a shop window; there are no restrictions on specifically how you light your photo or what sort of camera you use to take it!

The deadline is 12:00 BST on 1st June 2013. The winner will be selected by a panel of Lighting Rumours staff judges. The competition is open to all our readers across the world.

Happy snapping and good luck!
